The Laketown

Another of last weekend’s adventures! My boyfriend and me went on a trip to a place we’d wanted to visit for a very long time: Telč, a small historical town surrounded by lakes. It is so beautiful and well-preserved that it’s made it all the way to the UNESCO Cultural Heritage list. Its greatest treasure is the central square which has been the same for four hundred years – the buildings around it are all lovely Renaissance houses.

I’d been to Telč before so I knew that it is a small place which can all be seen within one day, and so we decided to take just a day trip. It was wonderful. The atmosphere of the town was very welcoming and we enjoyed walking around the square, visiting the chateau gardens and strolling along the lakes and ponds. I took loads of pictures and you can take a look at some of them in the gallery below.
